

Prof. Brázdil is a prominent Czech neurologist, epileptologist and researcher in the field of behavioural and social neuroscience. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of J. E. Purkyně University in Brno in 1989 and gradually gained recognition in the field. He is also the head of the First Neurological Clinic of St. Anne’s Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Brno, where he also works as the head of the Centre for Epilepsy Brno. He also heads the Behavioral and Social Neuroscience research group at CEITEC MU. His research focuses on surgical management of epilepsy, invasive electrophysiology and behavioural neuroscience. In addition, he has been recognized for his contributions in the field of epileptology and has been appointed as an Epilepsy Ambassador for the International League Against Epilepsy and the International Bureau of Epilepsy.
