Head of the Department of Paediatric Neurology at the Thomayer University Hospital in Prague. She teaches doctors in the field of paediatric neurology. She specializes in epileptology, metabolic diseases and genetic leukoencephalopathies. She is the President of the Society of Child Neurology, a member of the Czech Neurological and Czech Neurophysiological Society and the Czech League against Epilepsy.
