Head of the Centre for highly specialised care for rare neuromuscular diseases and Head of the Department of Paediatric Neurology, 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague.
Doc. MUDr. Jana Haberlová, Ph.D., founded the Neuromuscular Centre for Pediatric Patients at the Department of Child Neurology of the 2nd Medical Faculty of Charles University and Motol University Hospital. Her main interest is to improve the quality of care and thus the quality of life of patients with neuromuscular diseases. In addition to clinical practice, she is involved in clinical research including clinical trials of experimental treatments, especially in the field of spinal muscular atrophy and Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
She is a member of the Committee of the Society of Child Neurology of the Czech Society of Neurology and a member of the Neurological Society, TREAT NMD, European Pediatric Neurology Society and World Muscle Society.
